Drunk Driver hits me head on at 45 MPH
- In 1984 a drunk driver who was also on many illegal drugs, a broken arm in a cast with no insurance and no drivers license, hit me head on at 45 MPH.
- She was so messed up, she beat up the firemen, police and hospital personnel.
- We all went to the hospital to get checked out right away.
- At the time I had no idea what my injuries were.

- She was so messed up, she beat up the firemen, police and hospital personnel.
- We all went to the hospital to get checked out right away.
- At the time I had no idea what my injuries were.
- One month later I was in the hospital being checked for nerve damage. because I had numbness down my left arm and severe back pain.
- My doctors told me I had damaged my thoracic outlet syndrome so my nerves were permanently damaged.
- They did not really look into my back at the time,
- She received a fine of $500, because she had no insurance and a revoked drivers license.
- The sentence was reduced only, because the officer at the scene was not able to make both appearances in court due to being in the hospital from another drunk driver and could not leave at the time.
- Ten years went by tolerating the pain in my spine and down my left leg.
- Apparently during this accident my vertebra was split in half and three discs were completely dissolved.
- My back was grinding for more than ten years.
- After 11 years of pain and suffering, I finally decided to have major back surgery which lasted over 8 hours.
- The doctor told me it was a miracle I was walking all these years and I should have been completely paralyzed from the accident.
- I had six months to recover from the surgery and I was as good as new.
- I decided to turn this calamity into a learning experience by creating my Say No and Go Anti-Drug and Alcohol Program.
